1. the home page of a website having flash animated screen in their homepage with a title tag on the home page that says ‘’welcome’’ ‘’enter now’’ probably your page will rank for such word ‘’welcome’’ ‘’enter now’’ since those are the only word found on your home page.
Your homepage should contain a word that is relevant and searchable, avoid the use of flash animated screen for you home page.
Your page will not rank on Google search engine when it contain more images than word, search engine recognize word and not pictures and images cannot determine what your site is all about because these cannot been seen by search engine, the visibility and ranking of your website/blog is determined by word and not pictures/images.
Another reason is when no one is linking to you, these is another factor that determine one position or ranking in search engine.
