Who said that Chinese are only known for sub-standard devices? I bet that Xiaomi alone has been able to disapprove that thesis.
The Beijing based Company Xiaomi has risen from grass to grace in recent times ,Wondering why I called them giants? The company “Xiaomi” has been able to position itself among the current top 5 brand smartphone manufacturers in the world.
But this time around the already successful tech giant in the smartphone realm is about to add more feathers to its cap, to what seems like expansion and a venture into another line of technology; Notebook Technology.
Leaks upon leaks, rumours upon rumours of purported cloned Apple MacBook Air by Xiaomi have been filtering the internet for long now.
But with clearer observations and increasing stronger indications, it seems that those purported Apple MacBook Air are nothing other than pure Xiamoi laptops.
In other words, Xiaomi is reportedly working on their very first laptop with high end specifications and true value for money device capable of sending fears down the spine of the likes of hp and Dell.
These days if you will agree with me, Xiaomi is becoming synonymous and famous to quality, and with what we have seen so far and known Xiaomi for, tagging those purported Apple MacBook Air photos as Xiaomi cloned devices is quite a letdown for the self-made company with landmark achievements.
More convincing evidence and recent photos clearly showed that Xiaomi is totally in charge of the device and was not trying to mimic Apple MacBook in anyway, with the clear “Mi” logo in the back and front of the device, and also anorange function button which consolidated the Xiaomi brand identities.
Now with leaked photos, there are also leaked specifications of the latest Xiaomi laptop on rumours making the rounds and are as follows;
The Xiaomi laptop features a 15-inches 1920 X 1080p display, built with an Intel Haswell i7 chipset and with a whooping 16GB RAM, that could absolutely be amazing in RAM size architecture.
The laptop is tipped to be priced at only about $480 which sounds like a perfect bargain and a device that will offer true value for money.
Now the question left here is; If and when finally launched, will you rock the Xiaomi Laptop?
