Is the MTN 7.5GB Free Data Still Working?

Well, I don’t know if  MTN machines are faulty or something similar to that, all I know is that folks have been enjoying themselves online these few days with different free MTN data package and the most pronounced was the 7.5GB plan.

Apart from sending 101 in a text message with a new SIM to 131 to get the7.5GB, some also got 2GB by sending SPB to 131. check out: Latest and Cheapest Glo Call Tariff Plan, Glo Gbam + (Plus) for 11K/sec to All Networks

The whole thing was like if you just type and send anything to 131, some free and working gigs of data will be allotted to your SIM, and am even sure that even if you decide to type your name Chinedu or Ronke and send to 131, MTN will weigh the name and give you a suitable amount of gigs.

Funny enough all the gigs were working fine on all devices and some have downloaded heaven and earth already with it.

But at a point I was shocked that people used the MTN data mercilessly as if they have forgotten how MTN work; that they give you with right hand and collect it back with left hand in a stylish way.

And I was even more in shock, especially when somebody told me that because of the MTN free gigs that there was scarcity of new MTN SIM cards in his location.

But one thing is certain here that whatever has beginning must surely have an end, and it has all started, as MTN have started wiping out those 7.5GB data in their usual way.

If yours have not been wiped, just find something of humongous size to download with it, because they are wiping it turn by turn and do not go thinking that yours is a magic SIM that is why they have not wiped it, because they will surely come for you.

Then back to the topic of the day, for those of you still nursing the ambition of getting a new MTN SIM and to send 101 to 131 to get 7.5GB again, I want to tell you at this point that you should just drop that ambition and find something else to buy with that N100 that you budgeted for the SIM.

And even if you buy new SIM now and even go ahead to use SMS bomber to bomb 101 to 131, all that you will be getting is that “You have insufficient credit to purchase the data bundle”.

So in plainer words, the free 7.5GB MTN data plan no longer work.
