Onion is part of fruit vegetable, it contains carotene, fiber, fats vitamin C, niacin, vitamins Bi AND b2, phosphorus etc.
1. Onion is useful for the treatment of wounds, acne, and skin winkles the raw juice of it is also good for all kinds of bacterial infections the onion is boiled and applied directory on the skin, it soothes and beautifies the skin.
2. Onion is a powerful antiseptic,. The fresh onion juice is acteriostatic and choleric, it stimulates digestive juice which enhances proper digestion and assimilation of food.
3. It purifies blood. It makes the blood more fluid and easy flowing; it prevents high blood pressure and arthritis.
4. It corrects respiratory disorder. Equal amount of honey and onion juice should be mixed to form syrup, 2-3 spoonful, 3 times daily for treatment of cough, asthma and other respiratory disorders (children)
5. Treatment of sexual impotence; it strengthen the reproduction organs, the wide variety of onions is however more useful for this purpose.
6. Treatment of heart diseases; it prevents heart disease and also reduces the cholesterol level.
Note; intake of raw onions in form of eating and making onion raw drink is better for optimal benefit.
